We go deep within to the beat of the drum to seek answers for ourselves.

The Drum represents the womb & combined with the masculine beater stick, we create anew.

The original drummers were women from the inception of the drums in 25,000 BCE. The Women used single headed drums for rituals and  ceremonies for their families and Community.

The single-headed drum is used around the globe to achieve altered states of consciousness. To seek guidance and healing from Guides/helpers of the Earth and of the Universe. We must ask to receive.

The drum circles are open to all who are called on the Sacred Days in the Circle of Life.

The 2012 Drum Circle Schedule Is:

Honoring the Earth's Calendar - our ceremonies begin on the Spring Equinox when the feminine and masculine energies are balanced

March 21, 2012 - Wednesday at 7:00 PM - This day has many names. The Celtic name is Ostara or The Vernal Equinox, The Spring Equinox is the East on the Medicine Wheel in the Energy of the New Moon on March 22, 2012.The element if Spring is Air.

April 30/ May 1, 2012 - Monday Night at 7:00 PM -    Called Beltane, Roodmas or May Day, it is the mid-point between the Equinox and Solstice. The Sacred Marriage Day when the seeds are planted in the Earth for the coming year's harvest.

We change now from Red, the color of the East for the Woodland Nations Medicine Wheel to Yellow of Summer, the color of ripe corn and wheat.

June 21, 2012 - Thursday at 7:00 PM - This is 2 days after the New Moon of June. This Day of Celebration is called Summer Solstice or Litha. In the Northern Hemisphere it is the longest day of the year. We move from East to South, element of Fire on the Medicine Wheel

August 1, 2012 - Wednesday at 7:00 PM - Lammas or Lughnasah are names for on this day we celebrate the First Harvest. The Sun is loosing time in the sky. The plants of Spring are dropping their seeds and the grains and ripened fruit are harvested. It is mid point between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox. 

September 21, 2012 - Friday at 7:00 PM - The Autumn Equinox or Mabon, Second Harvest and we move into the element of Water and the West on the Medicine Wheel. The next New Moon in October is the Norse New Year. The color is black for the feminine and it is the Second Harvest

October 31, 2012 - Wednesday at 7:00PM - THE WORLD DRUM IS HERE!!! We are so Honored to host this drum. We Appreciate this Special Peace Drum that has traveled the around the World spreading Unity with Mother Earth and all of her children. It's journey started October, 2006 in front of the Norweigen Parliment and we have for the second time six years later. This is a Magical Drum! Join us and be with the World Drum - everyone will have an opportunity to drum on it. Please join us..

November 2, 2012 - Friday at Marengo Caves Women's Dance - This day we honor the Dead Ancestors and those wanders that have no descendants to provide for them. On October 31 or November 1 it is called Samhain. We are doing our Ceremony on Friday in the Energy of this time. Various other names are Third Harvest, Samana, Day of the Dead, Old Hallomas (Scottish/Celtic), Vigil of Saman, Shadowfest (Strega) and Samhuinn. Samhain is considered the Witch's New Year. This is the midpoint between the Equinox and Solstice.

November 4 to 7, 2012 - World Drum at our Ancient Wisdom NOW - Living in the Flow - Honoring the Sacred Feminine - French Lick Villas, IN

December 21, 2012 - Friday at 7:00 PM - This is the Winter Solstice or Yule and the Longest Night. On this night we celebrate the return of the Sun's return. From this day forward to the Summer Solstice, the days get longer. The Sun King, the Giver of Life begins to warm the frozen Earth. On the Medicine Wheel we move to the North the element of Earth with the color of White. This is the going within time to dream for the new year's changes and growth.
